Jeffrey “Jeff” Baugh is Southern Indiana Martial Art’s Assistant Judo Coach and the instructor for the Kid’s Judo Program. Jeff has been training Judo since 2017 and fell in love with grappling arts after discovering how rewarding the martial arts are. Prior to Judo, Jeff practiced Boxing and held rank in Aikido. 

 

Jeff currently holds the rank of Shodan (First Degree Black Belt) in Judo under Shichidan Eberhard Keislich of Toshi Dojo and is a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Jason Dempster (Fabio Santos). Jeff is also an active competitor in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and in Judo. Jeff was national champion in Judo in 2021, when he won first place at the Winter Judo Winter Nationals President’s Cup in Irving, Texas.


Jeff is currently certified as a State Level Coach with USA Judo and as a Bronze level USA Wrestling Coach. Jeff carries up to date Sport Safe, Heads-up Concussion, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications that are required of USA Judo to hold a coaching certificate of any level.
